In this module, students will research and write a dissertation of 15,000 to 18,000 words, working under the supervision of a full-time member of faculty who advises on the research and writing process. Regular contact between the student and their supervisor is essential.
The dissertation should provide a competent survey of the selected subject and reflect conflicting opinions as well as recent publications, assessing them critically. The development of critical and independent thinking and the ability to make an original contribution to a scholarly discourse are crucial aspects of this module.
Students will discuss the potential inclusion of AI in their work with their respective supervisors.
