The orchestra comprises strings (violin, viola, cello, bass) and continuo (organ, harpsichord), with the possible inclusion of solo wind/brass instruments or voice. Weekly rehearsals (Wednesdays) are followed by a more intensive schedule of rehearsals in preparation for a final concert in Week 7 of the second trimester. Admission is by audition, and may include those who have successfully auditioned for Ad Astra or UCD Symphony Orchestra Scholarships.
