This course will present aspects of the History of Mathematics from the origins to the present day. Interesting mathematical developments and techniques will be studied to give a flavour of the Mathematics of different periods. Students will carry out a historical project.

Learning Outcomes:

Students will have a better understanding of how Mathematics developed throughout History, and be able to explain the same. They will learn relevant mathematical techniques.
