This model is to practise the skills and knowledge that the students have learned from Design 1 and Design 2 in completing a group project. A physical vehicle model will be fabricated by a teamwork and on-site test will be organised.

Apply design methodologies and knowledge to the development of a simplified vehicle system.
Practise design skills and hand-on skills
Plan and coordinate engineering project activities effectively
Complete a full project including design, fabrication, tests and improvement.

Approaches to Teaching and Learning:
Presentations will cover concept development and refining, detailed design and optimisation, 3D modelling, simulation and analysis, materials purchase, customised parts design and manufacturing, system fabrication, design improvement, tests, etc.
Specified assignments will require students to apply their knowledge and skills to design activities throughout the module.
On-site tutorials will provide opportunities for students to get advice and feedback on their projects. 
Training on design, prototype, testing, oral presentation, report draft will be conducted through diversified means.
