MDCS40830 Clinical Diagnostics and Research Part II

Academic Year 2023/2024

Students attend the weekly psychiatric case conference held at St Vincent's University Hospital where, regularly, a patient is interviewed in the presence of a broad group of mental health professionals. The interview itself, the psychiatric diagnosis, including the psychoanalytic opinion, and the treatment plan will inform the seminar held immediately afterwards.

This is a must-pass module for the programme. In other words, a student cannot complete the MSc without passing this module regardless of grades across all other modules.
