On completion of this module students should be able to:1)Demonstrate understanding of the psychiatric diagnostics 2) Demonstrate understanding of a psychoanalytic formulation in relation to the patients presented 3)Evaluate the potential of a psychoanalytic formulation for the management of the care of individual patients attending the mental health services 4)Become proficient at writing up case presentation reports which include a psychoanalytic formulation.
