MDCS40300 Thesis Dissertation

Academic Year 2023/2024

The module is part of the MSc in Child Art Psychotherapy. The Thesis Dissertation embraces a broad perspective of Child Art Psychotherapy. It is distinguished from the Clinical Case Study by the selection of a topic which is researched, studied and presented in the light of varying clinical and theoretical models. A proposal of 1,000 words is submitted for approval in Spring Year 2.The Thesis Dissertation is submitted during the Summer before the end of Sem 3. This is forwarded to the external examiners for marking without any information from course staff.

100% attendance is expected, but 80% attendance is the minimum attendance required to achieve credit for the module. Absences must be discussed with the module coordinator or course lecturers, who will require supporting documentation (e.g. medical certificates). Students who miss part of the module may be asked to do a further piece of work in remediation.
