On completion of this module students should be able to:1. Demonstrate an awareness of the practice of cognitive behaviour therapy and therapies devived from CBT; 2. Demonstrate awareness of Child Art Psychotherapy and drama therapy; 3. Recognise and describe what is distinctive to psychoanalytic responses to psychiatric illness, criminality, addiction and eating disorders; 4. Identify the possible applications of psychoanalysis and psychotherapy in the mental health services; 5. Recognise the ethical implications for the therapist clinician raised by the different forms of psychotherapy;
