On successful completion of the module students will have:
1. gained an in-depth knowledge of a particular topic in financial mathematics;
2. written a dissertation on the topic demonstrating critical judgement and evaluation skills of theoretical and/or applied financial mathematical techniques;
3. given an oral presentation communicating the key elements of the dissertation to a broadly mathematically literate audience.
