The programme will develop participants' understanding both of the historical development of professional regulation and its current themes and perspectives. Participants will be able to demonstrate specialised knowledge and understanding of the law and practice of professional regulation and to consider common and current issues at the forefront of the field. Participants will be able to apply their knowledge, understanding and abilities in diverse environments that draw on their professional experience. Participants will also develop their appreciation of the ethical dimension to professional behaviour.
