Learning Outcomes:

On completion of this module students will:
 Have acquired insights from experienced arbitrators into the best practice approaches to common practices and issues arising in arbitral procedure;
 Have practical knowledge of the specialised issues attaching to arbitration in specific sectors, including consumer, construction, property and rent review, and statutory arbitrations and be able to compare and contrast these sectors;
 Have practiced and demonstrated, in a participative and interactive environment, useful and key skills for arbitrators in the management of arbitral procedure as outlined in the syllabus, including listening, analysis, decision making, working in teams and alone, articulation and communication of ideas and decisions;
 Be able to draft procedural orders to deal with given scenarios in arbitral proceedings;
 Have completed the practical elements of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators Module 3 syllabus “Practice, Procedure, Drafting, Deciding”
