These skills include legal writing skills, legal research skills, referencing, presentation skills and project management skills. Students will be encouraged to consider their progress since beginning University, to identify their own learning needs and skill gaps, and to develop and follow a plan to augment their own skills. Students will be asked to produce a learning portfolio to show the steps in this process and their learning outcomes. In addition, students will look forward to their own career paths, and will be connected with the Careers Network to ensure that they are in a good position moving forward in their careers. Finally, students will form part of the School's Academic Advisory team, identifying student needs and working together to provide academic advisory services for other students. This may include clinics, workshops or other initiatives.
