Describe and apply law to situations arising in the provision of healthcare.
Explain and evaluate the legal frameworks that govern the regulation of medical practice and conceptualise their relationship with each other (eg tort law, constitutional law, human rights law).
Compare the law in Ireland with the UK and other jurisdictions internationally.
Critically examine and discuss the ethical and philosophical issues that are inherent in aspects of medical law.
Identify opportunities for reform.
