Approaches to Teaching and Learning:
Active learning approach during lectures and tutorials:
- Lectures: students must come prepared having read before class lecture's notes available on Brightspace; in case class notes are available after the lecture, students must make sure they read them after class and before the next class.
- Tutorials: students must come prepared with their questions about the dissertation exercise and, as appropriate, must have done the preparatory work asked by the lecturer-tutor.
Students in this module are expected to have read and understood the UCD Academic Integrity Policy and the School Protocol on Academic Integrity. Students must ensure that they comply with all requirements laid down therein and avoid academic misconduct. Students are not permitted to use generative artificial intelligence, or other machine learning technology, to learn and complete assessments on this module. Students are expected to follow the standard French law rules in citing sources in completing assessments (for example, see detailed guidance at Université Toulouse Capitole, "Comment citer ces sources en droit", https://www.ut-capitole.fr/accueil/bibliotheques/accompagnement-et-formations/doctorants/bu-citer-ses-sources).
