Learning Outcomes:

On completion of this module, students should be able to:
i) Outline the development of the EU internal market and its legal sources;
ii) Identify discrete legal issues in hypothetical scenarios in relation to the four freedoms;
iii) Advise on the applicability of EU law to concrete problems;
iv) Critically discuss the evolution of the CJEU’s case-law in relation to the subject matter of the module.

Approaches to Teaching and Learning:

The module will be delivered by way of live face-to face lectures. Recordings of lectures will not be posted on Brightspace.
In addition, students will be taught in smaller tutorial groups with a total of 3 tutorials throughout the trimester. Tutorials are not recorded.

Students on this module are expected to have read and understood the UCD Academic Integrity Policy and the School Protocol on Academic Integrity.

Students are not permitted to use generative artificial intelligence, or other machine learning technology, in their learning on this module.
Because this module is assessed by an unseen, invigilated examination, no formal citation methodology is prescribed.
