This module blends traditional lectures and online resources and has a substantial problem based component. On completing this module students will be expected to be able to discuss critically the policy and practice of company regulation and further to advise, in a range of given circumstances, on the optimum solutions for resolving company law problems by appropriate application of the correct legal principles and best practice. On successful completion of this module and the associated module, Company Law I, students will have covered the required syllabus for the professional bodies, and in particular the syllabus for the Company Law exam of the Law Society of Ireland's FE1 examinations.
