2) Students will learn professional criteria for managing, selecting, and appraising digital data.
3) Students will be able to identify the role of different stakeholders (funders, repositories, libraries, depositors) in managing data.
4) Students will learn to use and assess data collections, repositories, and services for their suitable for particular disciplines and research approaches.
5) Students will gain basic technical skills in managing data in specific research settings.
6) Students will develop knowledge about the role of data management plans and creating them.
7) Students will be introduced to relevant policies and international initiatives related to data management, open data/open science, and data sharing.
