IRFL40020 Seminars and Dissertation 1

Academic Year 2022/2023

Students will need a laptop and Wifi connection to participate fully in this module.
Each seminar will be a two-hour session involving a specialist lecture followed by general discussion. The lecture will be concerned with a specific topic, and the discussion will focus on what can be learned from an investigation of that topic. In this way, the methods of study of folklore will be tested, and a variety of interpretations probed, with the intention of gaining new insights into the particular topic and into folklore studies in general over a wide range.
