Tá an cúrsa seo dírithe ar mhic léinn a bhfuil suim acu obair trí mheán na Gaeilge i réimse an dlí. Beidh sé mar aidhm ag an gcúrsa sainscileanna teanga a chur ar fáil do mhic léinn ionas gur féidir leo cur isteach ar phostanna mar aistritheoirí ar cháipéisí dlí in Éirinn agus san Aontas Eorpach. Leagfar béim ar na dúshláin a bhaineann leis an aistriúchán sa chomhthéacs dlíthiúil, ar nósanna teanga sa reachtaíocht, ar shaintéarmaíocht an dlí, ar ardchruinneas teanga agus ar áiseanna teicneolaíochta. Faoi dheireadh an tseimeastair, beidh tuiscint agus taithí agat ar na saghsanna éagsúla cáipéisí a aistrítear go Gaeilge in Éirinn agus san Aontas Eorpach.

Téarmaíocht choitianta agus frásaí coitianta sa reachtaíocht a aistriú gan cúnamh ó fhoclóir ná ó áiseanna ar líne.

UNESCO highlights a set of key competencies that support individuals in their development and support society in achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). UCD has adapted these competencies and is combining them with others to form a general framework of learning competencies. This module will help you develop the competencies below to the levels specified.

Aiseolas rialta ar Brightspace. Déanfar gach iarracht an t-aiseolas a chur ar fáil cúpla lá i ndiaidh an mheasúnaithe. Ag brath ar chúinsí nach bhfuil neart orthu, féadtar seachtainí na measúnuithe a choigeartú le linn an trimeastair. Beidh an scrúdú lár téarma ar siúl le linn sheachtain na léitheoireachta. Déanfar na marcanna a bhronnadh mar chéatadán le linn an trimeastair chun an marc is cruinne a ríomh agus déanfar an marc sin a aistriú ina ghrád ag deireadh an trimeastair.
