Déanfar staidéar ar dhánta le ceathrar mórfhilí a tháinig chun cinn ó bhláthaigh nuafhilíocht na Gaeilge thart timpeall ar an mbliain 1940. Is iad seo Máirtín Ó Direáin, Seán Ó Ríordáin, Máire Mhac an tSaoi agus Nuala Ní Dhomhnaill. Learning Outcomes:

Ar críochnú an chúrsa ba cheart go mbeadh an mac léinn in ann tuairisc chriticiúil scríofa a thabhairt i nGaeilge chruinn ar an bhfilíocht a pléadh agus ar an gcomhthéacs stairiúil, sóisíalta agus cultúrtha as ar eascair an fhilíocht sin.
