Bainfear úsáid as lionsa na hóige sa mhodúl seo chun deis a thabhairt do mhic léinn atá ag luí amach ar chéim sa Nua-Ghaeilge léargas a fháil ar réimsí tábhachtacha an ábhair ionas go dtuigfidh siad cad is brí le staidéar a dhéanamh ar an nGaeilge mar ábhar acadúil ollscoile. Déanfar staidéar ar fhréamhacha litríocht agus chultúr na n-óg i gcomhthéacs na Gaeilge, ar fhorbairt choincheap agus litríocht na n-óg san fhichiú haois, agus ar chultúr na hollscoile.

Learning Outcomes:

Eolas ar stair agus ar chultúr na hóige Gaelaí agus ar theanga na Nua-Ghaeilge.
Eolas ar litríocht na Gaeilge, idir chomhaimseartha agus stairiúil.
Eolas ar áiseanna taighde (foinsí léitheoireachta, foinsí ar líne agus cartlanna na Nua-Ghaeilge).
A bheith in ann cultúr na hóige agus gnéithe ar leith de litríocht na Nua-Ghaeilge a mheas agus a chur i láthair.

Indicative Module Content:

Suirbhé a úsáidfidh lionsa na hóige chun léargas a thabhairt ar réimsí tábhachtacha de chuid na Nua-Ghaeilge. Pléifear foinsí litríochta agus teanga a chuimseoidh a leithéidí seo:

foinsí taighde agus áiseanna nua-aimseartha teanga;
nualitríocht (prós agus filíocht);
an Ghaeilge ar líne;
eagraíochtaí agus institiúidí na Gaeilge;
Athbheochan na Gaeilge;
stair na teanga.

UNESCO highlights a set of key competencies that support individuals in their development and support society in achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). UCD has adapted these competencies and is combining them with others to form a general framework of learning competencies. This module will help you develop the competencies below to the levels specified.
