Tabharfaidh an modúl seo deis do mhic léinn atá ag luí amach ar chéim sa Nua-Ghaeilge léargas a fháil ar réimsí tábhachtacha an ábhair féin ionas go dtuigfidh siad cad is brí le staidéar a dhéanamh ar an nGaeilge mar ábhar acadúil ollscoile.

Díreorfar ar cheithre réimse ar leith, mar atá:

1. Fréamhacha na litríochta Gaeilge
2. Athbheochan na Gaeilge
3. Prós, litríocht agus drámaíocht
4. Téamaí úra Gaeilge

Beidh turais ranga chuig cartlanna taighde UCD ina chuid lárnach chun mic léinn a chur ar an eolas faoi na bunfhoinsí a úsáidfidh siad agus iad i mbun staidéir ar an nGaeilge.

Learning Outcomes:

Eolas ar bhunfhoinsí litríochta agus ar theanga na Nua-Ghaeilge.
Eolas ar litríocht na Gaeilge, idir chomhaimseartha agus stairiúil.
Eolas ar áiseanna taighde (foinsí léitheoireachta, foinsí ar líne agus arcíveanna na Nua-Ghaeilge).
A bheith in ann cúlra agus gnéithe ar leith de litríocht na Nua-Ghaeilge a mheas agus a chur i láthair.

Indicative Module Content:

Suirbhé a thabharfaidh léargas ar réimsí tábhachtacha de chuid na Nua-Ghaeilge. Pléifear bunfhoinsí litríochta agus teanga a chuimseoidh a leithéidí seo:

lámhscríbhinní;
stair na teanga;
nualitríocht (prós agus filíocht);
Athbheochan na Gaeilge;
iriseoireacht na Gaeilge;
an Ghaeilge ar an scáileán;
foinsí taighde agus áiseanna nua-aimseartha teanga.
