The dissertation is an indepent piece of research. In essence it provides students with an opportunity to complete an in-depth study of a topic that interests them. When completing a dissertation students must first identify a topic that interests them and define their research question. Secondly they must develop an appropriate research strategy and gather data. Finally, they will analsye the data gathered and use it to address their research question.

Approaches to Teaching and Learning:
The dissertation is an independent piece of research. Students will work independently to to complete an in-depth study of a HR/employment relations topic.
