On completion of the module students will be able to:
• Identify and explain the fundamental components of managing people in MNCs;
• Acquire a decent understanding of the theoretical lenses from HRM and IB literatures in the study of IHRM;
• Critically assess HRM strategies in MNCs, their shaping forces and their potential contribution to the success of a global business;
• Reflect analytically on the formulation and dissemination of human resources management practices in MNCs operating in different locations;
• Develop an awareness of potential ethical dilemmas that may arise in managing people in the MNC;
• Demonstrate a good understanding of significant and specific areas of international HRM strategy and practice.

The feedback provided will differ across assessment components. Class feedback will be given on the group work whereas individual feedback will be given on an individual basis for the academic essay. Students will have the opportunity to attend one-on-one sessions for feedback on essay planning.
