- How and why people wrote history in the middle ages
- Politics and society in post-Conquest England
- King Henry II, Eleanor of Aquitaine and the Angevin dynasty
- The murder of Thomas Becket
- The Crusade of King Richard the Lionheart
- The medieval supernatural
