Learning Outcomes:
On completion of the module students should be able to demonstrate an extensive knowledge and a critical understanding of the Irish Revolution; they should be able to assess its historiography; and they should be able to place the revolution in the wider context of twentieth century Irish history. They should have developed their capacity to discuss and debate complex historical problems, both orally and in writing. Participation at seminars will be a vital part of this learning process.
