The student’s personal contribution consists in:
- adequately delineating the research topic;
- exploring the literature surrounding the research topic and situating the research proposal within that broader context;
- choosing a suitable (equality or feminist) framework for analysing the research topic;
- engaging in a systematic and critical analysis of the research topic;
- writing up the main findings in a clear and well-structured manner, providing adequate evidence or arguments for the main conclusions and offering a balanced assessment of the research topic.

• Feedback individually to students, on an activity or draft prior to summative assessment

Student will receive regular feedback on the draft chapters of the thesis (therefore prior to submitting the thesis). After the thesis is submitted, evaluation reports are prepared by both the supervisor and the second reader of the thesis, who together agree on the final grade.
