- Doing international urban fieldwork.
- London as a Global City.
- Gentrification and urban liveability.
- Political economy of London.
- Urban form and London's colonial past and present.
- London's urban and peri-urban food system.
- Risk, resilience and sustainability in London.
- Urban climatology through field observations.
This module is a critical human geography module, focusing specifically on ideas and concepts from within urban geography.
This is a field-based module that integrates knowledge and allows students to develop an in-depth understanding of a key urban theme they are interested in. Students' chosen urban theme will form the basis of their research project and students are encouraged to choose a topic that relates to their dissertations. The above content will be tailored, where possible, to students' chosen urban themes to enhance student learning.
