GDIC2010K Microbiology - Experiments

Academic Year 2023/2024

Food Microbiological Examination & Practice for General Academic Purposes is designed for Stage 3 Students who are undertaking dual undergraduate degree programmes at Guangzhou-Dublin International College. The module is a subject that studies the detection technology and principle of common food-derived microorganisms and is an important theoretical basis for ensuring food safety and formulating relevant standards. This discipline is very practical, mainly according to the national standards of food microbiology, the establishment of relevant inspection procedures. The task of this course is to combine the progress of food microbial testing technology and social development needs, aiming at the needs of food science and engineering, food quality and safety and other disciplines, so that students can systematically master the basic theoretical knowledge and routine testing procedures of food microbial testing, and have the professional quality of food microbial testing. For engaged in food safety testing, food quality control and other work to lay a solid foundation.
