GDIC1021K College Physics (Theory & Experiments)

Academic Year 2023/2024

College Physics B is specially designed for the students studying various agricultural majors at South China Agricultural University. The course introduces the basic structure, interaction, and the most basic and most common forms of movement of matter and their mutual transformation laws, so that students can systematically master the physics foundation. It enables students to learn scientific ways of thinking and methods of researching problems. Furthermore, through the study of College Physics B courses, students can broaden their thinking, stimulate their spirit of exploration and innovation, enhance their adaptability, and improve their quality.

Courses are taught in class. In theoretical teaching, the basic knowledge and laws of physics are taught by visual teaching methods such as CAI courseware. In addition, with the College Physics Experiment courses, students' hands-on ability and the ability to find and solve problems can be cultivated. The syllabus of the course is compiled in accordance with the research results of the Ministry of Education's "Advanced Agriculture and Forestry Education for the 21st Century Undergraduate Physics Course Teaching Content and Curriculum System Reform Plan" and the requirements of the "2007 South China Agricultural University Undergraduate Talent Training Plan".
