This module provides an in-depth overview of advanced transport planning, encompassing key theories, methodologies, and tools. Students will be engaged in critical policy analysis, learning about the development of sustainable and inclusive transport systems. Students will explore the importance of transformational systems change in settlement and transport structure, through the integration of spatial and transport planning, and the role of technological advancement in achieving policy goals. The module is designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to address the complex challenges of transport planning in the 21st century.

Through the study of this course, students will deepen their understanding of complex concepts, theories, and methods in transport planning, gaining the ability to apply these advanced principles in practical, real-world scenarios.
