Academic Year 2021/2022

This module will serve as an overarching sustainability module within the Environmental Sustainability programme, which aims to connect from a more general perspective all the individual components taught in depth in other modules in the programme. This module aims to give students a comprehensive and transdisciplinary perspective of sustainability, including aspects of economic, societal, and environmental sustainability.
Students will be made familiar with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) and will learn to identify how the SDGs relate to the different areas of sustainability within a project.
Students will also learn to identify the different areas of challenges to sustainability for a specific project or problem and will consolidate their knowledge to critically assess potential solutions.
