Learning Outcomes:

By the end of this module, students will have

enhanced their knowledge of medieval scripts;
acquired the knowledge and skills necessary for editing medieval manuscript material;
developed their understanding of manuscript and early book production;
become familiar with the terms necessary for describing a medieval manuscript fragment;
identified and gathered useful resources and methods for identifying medieval manuscript material;
an increased understanding of the challenges of and opportunities for dissemination of knowledge;
the ability to write a short, informative, blog post on an original piece of research;
gained some insight into the work of archives/librarians and their contribution to medieval and early
modern scholarship;

How will my Feedback be Delivered?

Each small piece of assessment contributes to the final summative piece of writing, therefore, students will receive individual feedback either in person or online on every piece of work submitted. For this reason, tight deadlines on submission of work will be maintained.
