EEEN3019J RF Electronics

Academic Year 2021/2022

This course deals with the design and analysis of radio frequency (RF) devices and circuits. It will look at the operational principles and hardware circuit design aspects of wireless systems from a RF perspective.

Topics include: transmission line principles, Smith charts, impedance matching, generalized matrix representation of RF circuits, analysis of RF networks, lumped and distributed microstrip circuits, RF filters/amplifiers/oscillators/mixers, RF applications in wireless communication systems.
