Learning Outcomes:
On completion of this module, students should be able to:
• Show an awareness of the theoretical, ethical and practical issues involved in working with clients.
• Competently conduct psychological assessments with clients, having appropriately obtained informed consent and having liaised with parents and professionals, as appropriate.
• Show critical awareness of evidence-based interventions, for a range of identified needs.
• Developed knowledge of factors that optimise human development informed by cognitive psychology and neuropsychology;
• Write clear reports of psychological assessments and effectively communicate findings to clients, parents and other professionals, as appropriate.
•Engage in supervised professional practice as educational psychologists in training to a satisfactory level of competence.
