This is an intense course of lectures to provide you with the key ideas in mathematics and statistics that you will need to pursue the MSc. If you have a strong mathematics background, then most or all of this will be familiar to you. The emphasis is on intuition & applications rather than mathematical rigour. There will be no proofs in general.
