The aim of this course is to give students the conceptual basis and the necessary tools for understanding modern microeconomics and how it may be used by individuals, firms and policy makers to analyse and resolve problems. It will also provide a valuable foundation for choosing and understanding advanced optional modules offered by the School of Economics.
