Upon completion of this course, students should be able to:
1. Calculate natural frequencies and modes of vibration for two degree of freedom systems
2. Understand the concept of damping and its effect on structural response
3. Understand the concepts of dynamic magnification factors and vibration transmissibility
4. Understand how to solve dynamic problems using mode superposition and transient analysis techniques
