This module introduces practical technology in the construction industry. Students will examine the different processes, capabilities, and performance outputs of construction practice and analyse the decision factors relating to the construction project's technical, safety, and economic considerations. This module will provide a range of technical concepts associated with construction projects.

Learning Outcomes:

• Define the concepts and process of information in construction practice.
• Investigate and evaluate the plant and equipment implemented within the construction projects
• Describe qualitative and quantitative construction management techniques, their uses, benefits and limitations
• Apply appropriate sources of information in construction practice and explain proper techniques to manipulate data in assessing the projects
• Evaluate the benefits of various management and technique skills by Performing a construction practice case study on a diverse scenario
