Upon successful completion of this course the student will be able to:
identify and discuss different styles, genres and trends in young adult fiction
write original texts suitable for teenagers and young adults, creating a credible
narrative voice and characters that appeal to this readership
critically review and give feedback on peers’ writing, and use feedback to improve
your own writing.
write convincing dialogue and gripping narrative, and create situations and characters
with which young adults can identify.
