At the conclusion of this module students will be able to:
• Reflect critically on the process of their own creative writing and on the process of the work of a selected number of published authors and in particular the drafting process.
• Generate original compositions in both prose and / or poetry and develop strategies for the evolution of these pieces.
• Demonstrate a knowledge of the range drafting and revision practices in a variety of genres of creative writing.
• Work effectively in groups and participate in interactive lectures.
