CNWY40070 Bioinformatics Research Seminars

Academic Year 2023/2024

This is a module combining attendance at a journal club and attendance at research seminars, primarily aimed at students in the Bioinformatics and Systems Biology PhD programme. and the Computational Infection Biology PhD programme.

The seminar series is typically the Monday lunchtime Bioinformatics seminar series, but more experimentally focussed students will be directed to a more experimentally relevant series, such as the Systems Biology Ireland seminar series.

It may be combined in subsequent years by follow-on attendance at the 2.5 credit journal club module MEIN50040 and/or the 2.5 credit seminar series module MEIN50030
