This module will cover the preparation of a Business Plan for a business (start-up or business unit) . The key components of a business plan will be covered including objectives, marketing, financial models, regulatory aspects. The module will also cover financing and cash flow, business plan troubleshooting and presentation of the plan to stakeholders in investors.

About this Module

Learning Outcomes:

On successful completion of this module a learner will be able to:
>Interpret the role and functions of Business Plan in the context of a new venture start-up or within an existing business
>Evaluate of the commercial viability of a business opportunity
>Identify the sources of funding to develop the business opportunity
>Construct a business model to exploit the business opportunity
>Formulate and present a complete Business Plan

Introduction and Overview of Business Plans, Refining and Presenting the Venture Idea, Disruptive Innovation, Marketing and Sales, Business Models, Regulation, Financing Sources, Financial Projections, The Founders Journey, Legal issues, Organizational and people Issues, Pitfalls and Plan Execution
