1. analyse a variety of separation processes in terms of equilibrium stages.
2. analyse batch distillation processes
3. solve and analyse problems in batch and continuous crystallization processes
4. evaluate the performance of highly non-ideal distillation systems
5. analyse a variety of rate-controlled separation processes
6. evaluate separation process options in a wider context of sustainability, SHE and commerical considerations.
