The research project consolidates course work and intensive research experience in anexciting way, providing a route to technological publications, and rounding off the yearsof study in a satisfying way. These should not only include testing students' basicknowledge of the course content, but also testing their conceptual understanding andproblem-solving skills, enhancing the multidisciplinary biopharmaceutical engineeringknowledge, expanding their analytical abilities.

On completion students should be able:- To elaborate methodologies in the chosen area of research,- To expand critical and technical reporting,- To develop project management,- To build up communication skills.The objectives of this module are:-To foster research ability and critical thinking- To communicate facts and technical skills- To help students make rational decisions- To encourage oral and written presentation of ideas- To expand team working ability- To build up 'higher levels' of learning - student creativity.
