On completion of this module students will have a fundamental knowledge of cell and molecular biology. Additionally, the student will have a thorough appreciation of the range of techniques that can be applied in cell and molecular biology. This understanding will facilitate the student’s appreciation of cell biology methods to biological research, and the impact of this field in understanding disease, e.g., cancer, and developing treatments.
