On completion of this module students should be able to: -Outline the regulatory standards and legal aspects of air pollutant emissions -Describe the major sources of air pollution -Explain the principles of climate change -Outline the main methods for measuring concentrations of gases and odours -Describe the operation of air pollution control systems -Explain the principles of atmospheric dispersion modelling -Apply mathematical equations to solve pollution problems -Analyse and interpret the latest research information on the subject -Solve a practical air pollution modelling exercise through problem based learning.
