Curricular information is subject to change.

Organisational Behaviour (OB) is about the complex relationship and social dynamics between individuals, functional management, teams and networks and attendant behaviour, in the workplace and beyond.
This course explores the often curious world of human behaviour in groups, organisations, and the workplace. Why do people behave as they do? Why do we sometimes behave differently in structured organisational settings than we would as individuals? Why is it hard to change behaviour and what are the challenges faced within that process?
It explores issues like individual differences, teamwork, motivation, culture, communication, organisational power and politics and leadership.
OB insights can be used to diagnose problems, increase effectiveness, influence outcomes, question assumptions, advance human interests, or simply to better understand and interpret what is going on in organisations .

In this module, we pay particular attention to interpersonal behaviour, the management of relationships within organisational structures and the dynamics of behaviour, both its processes and its challenges.
