This module is a capstone module which draws on and advances your capabilities in management using a simulation. It focuses on areas such as strategy, marketing, operations, finance, and soft skills. There are four main aspects of this module:

(i) participants form teams and run a company using skills acquired throughout the programme
(ii) each company competes with other companies in a specific industry
(iii) observe group dynamics and individual roles (e.g., member roles, leadership skills) as they emerge
(iv) achieve the goal of company survival and success

Learning Outcomes:


On completing this module students will be expected to be able to

(i) Identify the factors which influence a firm's overall operational effectiveness
(ii) Apply and assess theoretical management tools
(iii) Organize and manage teams to ensure overall effectiveness
(iv) Complete a critical review on the learning and business processes included in the business simulation.
