BMGT30340 New Venture Creation & Development

Academic Year 2022/2023

The aim of this module to critically review the development paths and resource assembly junctures that innovators face as they create and scale-up their ventures. The course is designed to develop a student's ability to discover, evaluate and develop ideas into commercially viable concepts, and build those concepts into scalable firms in the context of the venture life-cycle process. The course is based on the premise that there is a very identifiable process involved in creating, leading and scaling entrepreneurial start-up ventures. A central learning outcome for the course is to provide you with an opportunity to develop and harness your entrepreneurial and creativity skills.
